new Delhi. The entire country lockdown has been a lockdown for two months due to the pandemic Corona virus in the country. Due to which meetings of parliamentary committees could not be held. In fact, many MPs of opposition parties and chairmen of parliamentary committees also demanded virtual meetings. Opposition leaders Shashi Tharoor, Jairam Ramesh, Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary and many other MPs had demanded virtual meetings.

There was a danger of leaking reports or processing of parliamentary committees considered highly confidential through virtual means. Due to this, no decision was made, but there has been some relaxation in the lockdown, even industries, shops have all started and now aviation services are going to start.

Please tell that in view of this, according to sources, the parliamentary committees are likely to meet from June 1. It is being told that the chances of having virtual meetings of parliamentary committees are slim. But with the start of the aviation service, members are believed to be coming to Delhi to attend meetings. A third meeting is scheduled on Saturday between Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu on the same issue. Parliamentary committees are considered mini-parliament. Its processing is highly confidential, and its report is kept in Parliament.
