Mayawati targeted Congress

Lucknow. The migrant laborers are facing a lot of problems due to the lockdown in the country. In such a situation, these workers are moving towards their homes on foot due to employment, living and food problems. The same President Mayawati, the national president of the Bahujan Samaj Party, constantly attacked the Congress for the migrant laborers and workers. After lashing out at the Rajasthan government for demanding the return of quota students back home, they have now blamed the Congress for the plight of migrant workers in the lockdown.

Targeting Mayawati, she termed the Congress’ sympathy for migrant workers as a nuisance and advised the central government to follow the policy of making the migrants self-reliant by not following the footprints of the Congress.

BSP Chief Mayawati on Saturday tweeted that “Today the Congress is the real culprit of the plight of crores of migrant laborers due to the enforced lockdown of Corona infection across the country.” Because during their long reign after independence, if the right arrangements for livelihood were made in villages and cities, then why would the workers have to migrate to other states. The video shown by the Congress leader sharing the grief of some workers who were victims of the Lackdown tragedy seems less of an empathy, more of a drama.
