new Delhi. The government is preparing to introduce a vehicle scrap policy for disposal of old vehicles, cars, buses, trucks etc. which will help the auto industry to get out of the crisis. The government will announce this policy soon. This policy takes into account the interests of vehicle consumers and producers. Older vehicles will be removed from operation after a certain time. In return, consumers will get some benefit. On the other hand there will be demand for new vehicles in the market, this will give a boost to the auto industry.

Recently, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari had indicated that the vehicle scrap policy said that the plants would be set up near ports and highways for disposal of old vehicles. This will help reduce vehicle manufacturing costs. In addition, the resources generated from the settlement can be easily transported from one place to another.
