Sana Houti rebels attacked the hideout of government security forces in Baida, the central province of Yemen, during which 14 Houthi rebels were killed in firing from both sides, while four security personnel died. Sources associated with the security forces said that the Houthi rebels attacked the targets of the security forces in the Kania region northeast of Baida province. According to sources, at least 14 rebels were killed and four soldiers died during this attack.
Meanwhile, Al Masirah television, operated by the Uhti rebels, reported that five airstrikes were carried out in the Kania region, although the television provided no further information. A conflict has been going on since 2014 between the Iran-backed Houthi rebellion and Saudi Arabia-backed President Abd Rabbu Mansur Hadi’s army, and rebels have occupied large areas in the north of the country.
