new Delhi. The global pandemic corona virus continues to wreak havoc in many countries of the world. All countries are making numerous efforts to deal with this corona epidemic. The way the Corona virus has caused havoc in developed countries due to its infection, such devastation has been found in India. The situation in India is still under control, about which Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan assured on Saturday that India will not have the same status as some developed countries. He also said that the country is ready to face the worst situation.
The Union Minister said that there is no possibility of destruction in developed countries like Corona in India. But still we have prepared in such a way that we can face the worst situation.
Health Minister Harsh Vardhan, while interacting with health ministers and senior officials of northeastern states on Kovid-19 through video conferencing, further said that India’s record in fighting Corona is getting better. The death rate from Kovid-19 remains at around 3.3% and the recovery rate has increased to 29.9%, which is a good sign. He further said that Corona’s dabbling rate has been around 11 in the last three days, similarly if we talk of seven days, then it is 9.9 days.
Harshvardhan further explained the treatment that ‘We have 843 hospitals exclusively for treatment of Kovid-19 patients, which have about 1,65,991 beds. While there are 1,991 Kovid-19 health centers across the country and there are 1,35,643 beds. This includes isolation as well as ICU beds ’.
There are 7,645 quarantine centers across the country. We have distributed 69 lakh N-95 masks, along with a total of 32.76 lakh PPE has been provided by the Center to the state governments. We started with a testing lab in Pune, now there are more than 453 laboratories in the country. The Union Minister said, “Last evening, we evaluated the data of various states and found that only 0.38 percent patients were on ventilator. 1.88 percent needed oxygen support and 2.21 percent were on ICU beds.
