new Delhi. Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi has termed the Corona epidemic as a serious challenge, saying that the central government cannot fight it alone so it should deal with transparency with state governments and open the lockdown in a strategic manner.
Rahalu Gandhi while addressing the press conference through video conferencing here on Friday said that there is a need to work more to overcome the situation of Corona in the country today. The central government cannot do this work alone, rather the states should be taken together for this. The Chief Ministers of many states and the District Magistrates of many districts can deal with this situation in a better way so the Central Government needs to take the fight against Corona to the district level.
He said that the Center has to fight this battle only by relying on the Chief Ministers and the Chief Ministers on their District Magistrates. If there is no trust in each other, then a big crisis will arise, therefore, there is a need to fight at the district level against Korena by adopting transparency in this work. This battle has to be fought not by the Prime Minister’s Office but by taking it to the district level only then it can be controlled.
On a question regarding opening of lockdown, he said that it needs to be opened in a strategic manner and it should be considered keeping in mind the interests of migrant laborers.
